MAP OF THE GRANDSTANDS

The Shanghai International Circuit features several grandstands for spectators to choose from, each providing a distinct view and experience of the race. All grandstands have a large TV screen and most of them are covered.

General Admission (GA) tickets are also available at the circuit. GA tickets grant spectators access to a reserved area without assigned seating. Note that these tickets are usually cheaper than standard tickets.

Grandstand A (Platinum)

Grandstand A ranks among the largest seating structures at any motorsport venue, accommodating nearly 30,000 fans. Located along the main straightaway, it provides excellent sightlines of the starting grid, pit areas, start/finish lines, and the podium celebrations. Note that the grandstand is divided into two levels: upper and lower. From higher level seats you can see most of the track action.

Grandstand B

Grandstand B picks up right where Grandstand A finishes, positioned at the culmination of the start/finish straight. This spot offers an unobstructed view of the conclusion of the main straight, providing excellent sightlines into Turns 1 through 3. Higher seating in this grandstand may even afford glimpses of Turns 4 through 6. Note that this grandstand is not covered.

Grandstand K

Positioned at the turn 14 hairpin, Grandstand K offers a thrilling vantage point. Spectators here can witness the dramatic deceleration as drivers emerge from the long back straight and navigate the challenging corner. This location is particularly popular due to the exciting action this section of the track offers.

Grandstand H

Situated at the turn 14 hairpin along the extended back straight, Grandstand H provides excellent visibility of a prime overtaking zone. Additionally, some spectators will have a vantage point that includes the entrance to the pit lane.

General Admission

General Admission (GA) tickets at the Shanghai Circuit offer spectators access to various spectator areas around the circuit without reserved seating. GA tickets allow for flexibility, so you can move around the circuit throughout the day and explore different vantage points.

You can choose to watch the action from three different locations, depending on what suits you and the view you want to experience: the first one is located near Turn 1 (outside), the second one can be found outside of Turn 6, the third one is placed alongside the back straight, the fourth one is outside of Turn 14 and the final one is positioned just behind Turn 16.
